Ronald Stanley Norton, born May 9, 1947, passed away peacefully November 2, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Madelyn (Chattelle) Norton. They just celebrated 40 years married. Born in Lowell, MA he was a son of the late Warren and Lenore Norton.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Lisa Battersby and husband Arthur, Lori Norton, Ronald Norton and wife Jennifer, Todd Norton, Sandy Norton and fiancé Casey Martins; 12 grandchildren; siblings, Sandra Davis, Leni and husband Kenneth Nassor, Bernice DeYoung and Alan Benoit of FL.; 9 nieces and nephews from Fl. And Ma. And many nieces and nephews from RI.
Ronald was a tire technician and worked for Merchant Tire, City Tire, Pete’s Tire Barn from the 1970’s until his retirement in 2015. He was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. He had no mercy for New York Yankee fans. He bowled in multiple leagues, loved playing Hi Lo Jack, and enjhoyed camping and fishing with his children. If going on a trip no matter how short or long, he wanted to drive. He was always there to lend a hand. His many conversations and smiling blue eyes will be missed. Ronald was a good father who loved his children and a gentle man who was very knowledgeable and articulate.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 11th from 4:00 – 7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be Saturday, November 12th at 10:00am in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Please meet at the chapel.
